Through social media and the art of collaboration, I have been able to interact with some amazing military spouse entrepreneurs. Out of the numerous companies owned by some pretty talented milspouses, I have chosen my top five favorite retail companies. Not only do each of these businesses carry some fabulous products that I completely stand behind and use, but they were also created by a group of kind, ambitious, and fearless women who also happen to be the spouse of a service member.

1-The Rosie Apparel Project
This apparel company began in 2016 by two military spouses and is based out of California. They create apparel to showcase patriotism as well as military life. Each shirt is printed on extremely comfortable and soft fabric. Check out their line of clothing here on my affiliate link and enter code: WENDI to receive 10% off your order.
I ordered my first piece of clothing from this company in February of 2018. I was very impressed by the quality and comfort of the apparel as well as the quick delivery. I soon found out they had an ambassador program, so I applied and became an ambassador for this amazing military spouse owned business.
2-Wild Bugs Stitches
This company began in 2017 by an Army spouse who loves embroidery and making custom orders. This sweet company is based out of Alaska. Custom orders are not a problem, so contact the owner to discuss your next embroidery project.
Late February of 2018, I was looking for recommendations for someone to embroider a bandana. Wild Bugs Stitches was highly recommended in an online military spouse group, so I messaged the owner about my idea and she made it into a reality. The bandana pictured below was a custom order to honor all the men in my family who have served or are currently serving, which I wore in my first half marathon race. I highly recommend this military spouse owned company for any of your embroidery needs.

3-Honey Bea Hive
This custom accessory company was created by a Marine spouse and is based in North Carolina. You can find this company on Etsy and contact the owner for special requests. All jewelry is made with specialty fabrics and stones. Each order you place is uniquely packaged with adorable details.
I was introduced to this business through an Instagram contest, in which I won two pairs of adorable earrings from Sugar + Spice. Then, I began following this account and noticing the adorable handmade jewelry each week. After contacting the owner and collaborating on a project, I am even more sold because now I know the amazing person behind this adorable business.

4-Mother’s Wisdom Wellness
This miraculous all natural product business was created by an Army spouse based in North Carolina. The Mother’s Renew healing salve is a cure-all for dry skin, itchy bug bites, rashes, cuts, and scrapes. This coconut oil based product is a miracle potion for your skin. This healing salve is truly a life saver and the best part is that it is made with all natural ingredients.
It was because of a USO of North Carolina event, that I met the creator of this fabulous all natural company and forged a friendship. I began using the Mother’s Renew product in early 2017 and it has truly been a life saver.
5-The Six Box
Two military spouses began a journey in 2016 to create a way to send care packages to the women on the home front taking care of everything and everyone. According to the founders, “These amazing “reverse” care packages include special gifts that will pamper, encourage and cheer on the amazing military and first responder spouses who always have your six” (The Six Box). Beyond the wonderful packaging and products is a heartfelt note included inside of the box. This speaks volumes about the care, love, and attention to detail that is put into making these lovely boxes.
I began following The Six Box in 2017 on Facebook. In January of 2018, I won an Instagram contest and received my very first Six Box. I decided to open it live on Facebook so others could see it too. Soon after, I began to collaborate with and support this amazing military spouse owned business. I truly believe in what they are doing and could feel the love, care, and attention that goes into each box.
