It’s the season for shopping! To honor Small Business Saturday, I am hosting my very first giveaway that ends November 30th. Two amazing military spouse-owned businesses have generously donated items for this contest and I have even thrown in a Wal-Mart gift card to sweeten the package.

First, let’s talk about Whine & Intertwine. This is a military spouse-owned business that began this year. This small business, owned by Heather, offers crochet and knitted items to keep you warm. Some of the most popular items include; messy bun hats, Harry Potter scarves, and the knitted cowl, which Heather has generously donated along with ear warmers for the giveaway valued at $35.00. The Mother’s Renew is a salve that has many uses. First, it can moisturize your cuticles, hands, lips, and skin. Second, it can instantly stop itching from mosquito bites and fire ant bites (both of which I endured endlessly this summer). This stuff stopped itching and stinging right on contact.

I like The second product because i definitely could’ve used a lot of that when I was on the field during my enlistment in the army..

Declan, the all natural products would have definitely been a blessing in Louisiana. We’re at Fort Bragg and the fire ants are insane here. The Mother’s Renew salve helped me with all the fire ant stings on my feet all summer long. It took the sting and itch out in contact and is coconut oil based.
